The glow crystals are best activated by contact with UV rays (black lights, fluorescent lighting and natural sunlight). While the print on the balloons will remain visible in the dark for a number of hours, the length of the glow will depend on a number of variables.

For best results and long lasting effect expose the balloons to the brightest UV light source available to you and after the balloons have been inflated. In a decorated environment with black lights left on the balloons will be continually charged to maintain the highest level of glow and will be highly visible in a semi-darkened environment
